SATURDAY MARKET

Markets at The Old School are held on the first Saturday of each month except January. They open at 930 am and continue until noon and are normally held in the ground floor of the main building and are accompanied by the Saturday breakfast service.

The normal full breakfast service is served inside the building and provides a full English service cooked to order with waiter service and tea and coffee available at the bar. In the period 2020-21 some Markets have been held in the car park and, on these occasions, there is a more limited range of snacks available, again with tea and coffee, and with seating space available under cover.

The Market stalls provide a diversity of local talents for Crafts, Cooking and Foods. Stallholders are all local and are able to take orders in advance of Market days. Below is a typical list of stallholders (though this list may vary from Market to Market), with their contact details.

The Markets are important social events as well as an opportunity to shop locally an support local businesses. The social contact is especially evident when a full Breakfast service is available.
